Anyone who has worked on micro grids projects over the world knows about the difficulty to obtain a reliable load profile.

And yet… this data is the corner stone of the sizing and of the design of the system, thus of its technical and economic performance.

Don’t you think it deserves some special attention? We at QiDo think so.

We also thought it would be a good idea to have a freely available collaborative tool that could enable anyone who need a load profile to easily create one, export it and share it with the community. Or pick one in a library of load profiles created by the community. Houses, villages, industries, cities, buildings. Enrich it, discuss about it,…

So we talked to some friends who know about web apps and we did it !

It is called QiLoad, and will be released before the end of this year, very soon.
